Default Firefox.... should I?

I have been having so many problems with IE lately... dont know if it is vista or what. I dont have any bugs/trojans/etc.

Sometimes, if I scroll too fast before the page loads it starts wiggin out like flashing from white to black and I cant see anything on the window until I close it out and reopen.

Other times IE windows will open and not stop opening. They will pop open faster than I can close them and only the task manager can stop it.

Is this an IE/Vista thing? Would I be better off with Firefox?

Oh my gosh. Those are the SAME EXACT problems I have!! It makes me crazy!! It especially wigs out when I'm on forums and galleries because I'm too impatient to wait until all the pics load before I scroll.... lol

And the first time the window pop ups happened it freaked me out and I was worried I had a virus... nope... I always have ot force my computer to shut down b/c it just won't stop.

Mine also does something else really strange... AFTER a page has loaded a dialog box pops up saying IE Cannot Open the Webpage and then the page refreshes to the Cannot Display Webpage page. SOOO ANNOYING. Especially if I'm in the middle of purchasing somehting or paying a bill.

I ahve both IE and Vista... I'm thinking it's an IE thing.

Ok, as much as it sucks we have the same problems, I am glad I am not alone! lol
Yeah I was thinking a vista/IE incompatability problem or something because it never happened on my desktop with XP.
I dont get the dialogue box thing... YET. UGH. So annoying. And yessss, happens a ton on the forums/galleries.

I don't have Vista but was having problems with IE loading my home page, I got so irritated I switched to FF and I haven't regretted it for a miniute. Love some of the addons like ScribeFire. It took a couple of days to get used to it, but now I love it!

I have never had problems like that with IE and Vista. I use both, but Firefox is my primary and I love it to death. It is SOOOO much faster! You can't go wrong with it.
I can't play games with Firefox, it's what I keep IE for,lol.

do it. do it. do it. do it.

I don't even know why anyone uses IE voluntarily any longer LOLOL. And for those websites who haven't gotten with it and upgraded their code, FF even has a nifty little add-on where you can open a site within FF in IE - an IE tab. There are so many cool add-ons for FF to make it 'you'.

It's more stable than IE, more secure than IE, and is just more fun to use!

Yeah, another FF lover here, lol...I've used it for years and refuse to open IE unless ABSOLUTELY necessary (and usually that isn't the case, lol).

I just dl'd Firefox a couple of weeks ago on my laptop at home and I really like it. Now if I could figure out how to add on all the cool things people always talk about, I'd be in business.

I love FF too, I always have problems with IE on my desktop with Vista if I try to use it. My DH always wants to use IE and then when it wigs out he starts complaining and I just tell him "well if you were in firefox that wouldn't be happening" lol!
