Pizza -- Let's Dish. See What I Did There?!

We have pizza every Friday night. We get frozen because my DH is GF, and it's ridiculously expensive to order him GF pizza from any of the local delivery places.

What's your favorite way to make pizza/what toppings do you use?

GF is so expensive, I totally agree! My husband loves, loves pizza so we end up ordering a small GF for J at Dominos or Pizza Hut.

My favorite pizza used to be a garlic parm cream sauce, spinach, bacon, mushrooms, and balsamic glaze on a pretzel crust at Pizza Hut, but they no longer have it... they have something similar, but it's not even close to the piggy pizza... *sigh*

There are a lot of local joints, but we stick with major chains... hubby loves Pizza Hut meat lovers.

We have a place called Mellow Mushroom here, they are amazing. Beer on draft and a great vibe. We normally get a pepperoni, mushroom, green pepper with a pesto drizzle on top. At the suggestion of a waitress there, I like to dip the crust in their Esperanza salad dressing (a thick peppercorn caesar-type dressing). Super yummy.

At home, I make homemade pizza using pizza dough from our Publix or Trader Joe's.

For quick take-out or delivery pizza we are partial to pan pizzas from domino's, pizza hut or even little caesar's in a pinch.

We mostly make our own pizzas at home these days, though we have a chain here in Australia called 'Crust' which is pretty yummy and heavy on the toppings.

Our kids are fairly basic and like a Hawaiian pizza, whereas my favourite is smoked salmon, bocconchini and dill on a tomato and garlic paste base - yum!

What's your favorite way to make pizza/what toppings do you use?

I always use this dough by Cooking Light. It comes out perfect every time!

I like to mix up my toppings from week to week. Some faves are:

- tomato sauce, bacon, onion, mushroom, with shredded white cheddar
- tomato sauce, grape tomatoes, mozzarella and after its out of the oven, add baby arugula (tossed lightly with olive oil and vinegar)
- BBQ sauce, shredded chicken, red onion, yellow bell pepper, with blue cheese
- ranch dressing, shredded chicken, green onion, mozzarella

No matter what I like to dip the crust into balsamic vinegar with a smidge of olive oil.

What's your favorite pizza delivery/chain place?

I like Pizza Pizza.

What's your favorite local pizza place?

There's a local place that specializes in pizza and wing combos. Their wings are perfect. Mmm!

We usually make our own. Has to be very thin crust, red sauce topped with NO cheese for me, sundried tomatoes, sliced red onion, and chopped garlic. When it comes out of the oven I top it with some fresh spinach. Cheyanne likes hers with red sauce, onion. and pineapple and a very light sprinkle of cheese.

We have a local place that's been in the same spot for 80+ years and they make the best thin crust pizza - it's right near the university so if we're there for a function or game we splurge on that.

Mmmm...pizza!

We get pizza probably every other weekend. My 10year old has celiac so we too feel the $$pain of GF pizza. Fortunately we have MountainMikes around here & their small GF isn't too insanely priced! And my 10 year old splits a small with the 8 year old. Otherwise she'll bake up a 1/2 CPK BBQ chicken pizza; their GF is really good! Or we make our own; the kids love it & we can get Mama Mary's GF crust for a reasonable price at Safeway.

Yay, pizza !!!!!!!! I love pizza and so does my son. My husband hates cheese so he doesn't eat pizza hahaha

What's your favorite way to make pizza/what toppings do you use? - Gorgonzola (and ofcourse tomatosaus & standard cheese topping)
What's your favorite pizza delivery/chain place? Domino's (their chicken kebab with garlic sauze is my favorite)
What's your favorite local pizza place? Domino's or our local supermarket. They sell an amazing Gorgonzola Pizza which has the name 'Bianca' btw Honoust !!!

I know, right !!! Same here, I eat cheese every single day.....not sure how we ended up together !! hahaha
