Creative Teams?
Ok, would someone explain Creative Teams to me?! Is that why people have "I design for: ___" in their siggies? Is I design for __ the same as people saying, "I create for __" If you are on a designers "creative team" what do you do? help them come up with designs? or just create LOs with their new products? *very lost*

You get their product for free in exchange for you promoting their designs with layouts, blog posts, praise games, etc. Each designer has their own requirements. Don't just go for a CT just so you can say you are on one though...apply for the one(s) you truly love!

creative teams use the designers designs to create layouts and hybrid projects and promote their designers designs throughout the websites they are active on. They might host challenges on the designers blog and make freebies to give away with the designers products. Yes saying design for and create for are basically teh same thing. The designers have creative team calls where you can apply to be a part of their team. Some designers dont do ct calls instead just ask people who they see using their designs alot and in a way they like to join their team. Hope that helps!! ohh, ok, I see! So how do you know when designers are looking for new people? or where do you apply? I find myself buying from the same designers over & over...so I definitely have some in mind!! that I TRULY love!!

And don't feel bad if you get rejected on a CT call--- I've been rejected by numerous SSD gals! Ha ha!
 Only Darcy has "realized my potential" thus far, but I still LOVE this place SO much and the designers here ROCK.

if you like someones designs on this site you can simply PM them and ask them if they are planning a creative team call in the near future. Ive done it once or twice and they usually respond and say yes and tell you when it will be so you can watch for it. It is usually announced in the forum (the one that is a few down from this one LOL Im not sure what its called) and in the newsletter. Likely in their newsletter and blog if they have one.

CT calls for here are usually listed in the Sweet Stuff from the Sweet Shoppe section here

I remember I about died the first time I found out that you could get EVERYthing a designer made for FREE! It was the point at which I started stalking Dani.
 And then Susan came back from her maternity leave and offered me a guest spot; my gosh I thought I was in HEAven! CT are a lot of fun; hope you find one that is a good fit for you!
