Default april fools fail

*sigh* I was so excited to pull this off... as you know, I homeschool Jake so he is.always.around... so pulling off anything under his nose is tough! So I created this while he was busy watching about Killer Volcanos on amazon prime...

I was on pins and needles for dinner to get done because I was hoping to trick hubby too.. but hubby wasn't surprised - someone at work did the same prank... and then my son just didn't get it... he was thrown with the white E's... geez... but I did get them with the jello in the cup with straws!

Anyone have any success with the day? I know there are a lot of people that aren't a fan... and I don't like to be pranked, either - but I do like to be a little silly...

Ah, cute! I'm not much of an April's fooler ... I don't enjoy being pranked and I never prank on AFD (I'm more likely to prank on a completely unsuspecting day, lol)

I enjoy pranks, but I was so busy today. I did run out and buy silly prank cupcakes from a shop in town. I got spaghetti and meatballs, nachos, kitty litter and surprise. Then told him I had made all his favorites for tonight. He just giggle though cause he could tell they were cupcakes right away and the devoured the spaghetti one. Which he says was vanilla frosting and cake with a truffle made to look like a meatball and strawberry sauce over the whole thing. It was more cute than anything.

We pranked our students at work. They got a test with "impossible" questions. They totally fell for it and it was hilarious.

that's really cool!! My practical jokester was having a bad day, so we didn't do any pranks with her. It's been fun seeing what others did this year with their families and co-workers!

I'm not a fan of April Fools Day. We did have one prank go pretty wrong in our neighborhood yesterday.

One of my neighbors dressed up in a lion costume and went around ringing a few doorbells. When the people answered the doors, she didn't say anything, just stood there. Needless to say, it freaked a few people (and their kids) out. One lady was posting on our neighborhood FB page about how some creepy guy in a lion costume was out knocking on people's doors. By the time the girl who had done it revealed herself, the cops had already been called and they were looking for her (they thought it was a man they were looking for though).

So, let that be a lesson to you . . . even the most innocent prank can be misinterpreted and go wrong pretty quickly.
