Let's share, who are you printing with these days
I think anyone that knows me, knows I've been using presto photo for the last 11 years to print my stuff, but when we posted about printing photobooks on Facebook last night, we had several questions about printing. So I'd love to share some of those out.

I have never heard of them...I will have to check them out. I have used Shutterfly for books and Persnickety prints for my 12x12 pages. I usually wait till Persnickety has a sale around National Scrapbooking day and buy print credits.

I just got an email that Persnickety is having a sale today only for their 12x12 prints...they are $1.50 each. They way it works with them is you can buy credits and they are good forever...you can print when you are ready. I still have credits from 4 years ago that I need to have printed.

I print with Blurb because I just chose a border so that I don't have to worry about trim, bleed, and gutter issues. How's Presto (or anyone's) layflat books? Can you just upload a square layout and not have a lot cut off from the edges?

I use Shutterfly. I used to use Artscow and loved them, but years ago their software stopped working with my computer. I love Shutterfly though so it works out

Here is my latest book, you can look at the flip preview of the book if you want to see the border and click the show crop guides. The white border on my pages is the one from their template, it's .25 inch. https://www.prestophoto.com/bookstor...0Leaf-Page%201 Last edited by nesser1981; 07-17-2020 at 07:02 PM. |

I have all of my 8x10 photobooks printed at blurb, then all of my 8x8 - 12x12 at shutterfly.

I used to use ArtsCow for books and prints, but just haven't lately. I do use them for canvases, though.
I print albums via SF and most prints from PP. Funny enough, just today I received my first order of 4x6 prints from Amazon Photo Prints. They are $0.12 each with Prime shipping. I was pleasantly surprised and will use them when I need to print just a few photots (I hate spending $5 on PP's shipping fee for just a couple prints, so I buy 100s at a time from them using print credits. I LOVE their quality and that they are a woman-owned US business).

At Presto does that white board print or can you print a full page? I'm looking for somewhere new. My last three books at Shutterfly have shifted up or down, so part of my page is cut off.

They have a lot of videos on their youtube page, I've never watched any, but maybe that'll give some more info too. Last edited by nesser1981; 07-18-2020 at 09:06 PM. |

Scrapbook albums are still with Shutterfly.
Other projects (weekend albums, etc) are usually with Artifact Uprising.
