Default NSBR: Has anyone purchased from Scentsy?

I'd never heard of this company until I was invited to a Scentsy party tonight. After looking at their website, I kind of like the idea of leadless, wickless, flameless, and smokeless candles. I have always been afraid to burn candles with my kids around (which is all the time - LOL!) Has anyone purchased from them before? Is it a good product? What are your favorite scents?

I never go to these type of parties because I hate feeling like HAVE to buy something, but this might be something I will actually use and like.

Here is a link to the website, in case you are curious:

http://www.scentsy.net/index.html

Any info would be much appreciated!

I haven't purchased any, but they were a vendor at a boutique I went to and I thought they were uber cool. The smells were fabulous!

Well, that is cool. The consultant at the party told me that they did 3 million in sales last month...her friend is a genius. I wish I thought of the idea! I can't wait to try mine out.

ooh, so they are basically just a tart burner? I love tarts! These look cool. How do the prices compare to Yankee Candle tarts?

I have never used a tart burner before, but I think they are different in that the Scentsy Warmers use a small light bulb underneath to melt the wax instead of a candle with a Tart burner. What I thought was cool too is that it gets warm enough to melt the candle, but not hot enough to burn anyone. So if a child accidently touches the liquid, they won't get burned.

The prices are on the website, but I don't know how they compare to Yankee.

looking at the prices its alot cheaper than the bath and body works oils (8.00 a small vile) I know I'm a HUGE oil fran but not a fan of candles around a 2 year old...I LOVE this idea--we have 4 dogs and a 2 year old...its better safe than sorry in my opnion! great great idea..plus its cheaper than buying the oil plus the little candles all the time to burn the tarts or oils with. The tarts if i'm not mistaken range from 3-5 a tart. Frankly I have a tart warmer by yankee and I just don't get the strong fragrance out of them I guess I must have that cronic sinus problems ...Thanks again for the info! Book marking!

Yankee has the electric tart burners too... those are much better than the candle types, I agree! I tried to see the prices on the website, but it was asking me for my address so a consultant could contact me.

If you just enter your zip in that form.. it will pull up the name of your local gal.. click her & then you'll be able to see the prices (LOL I was curious)

eta:

Looks like the warmer is about 25.. an individual pack of bars is about 5 (Though they have a lot of triplet/discount sets) and the replacement bulbs are a b uck.
