I'm thankful for a hot cup of tea on a rainy day.

Today I'm thankful that my sweet little boy only woke up once last night and it was just for a few minutes and I'm thankful that my sweet hubby let me sleep in till 8AM and then brought me breakfast in bed!!

Today I am thankful for my church. While it might not be perfect, it has led me down a path of tolerance, forgiveness and love. It has shown me the right way and always been there for me.

Today I'm thankful for a good night's sleep, for having managed to do everything I wanted to and for finally getting to see a film in a cinema after 3 months or so.

The film I saw deals with the Communist regime in the former Czechoslovakia. I was born into that regime and my parents and grandparents had to live it, and I'm very thankful that now it's a matter of the past and subject of movies; not a reality.
