Default Have you guys seen...

...the prayer wave going around Facebook?

It's this thing where people post "PRAYER WAVE: Praying for Japan" or something. Well, the whole concept didn't really sit right with me at all, but I thought maybe I was kind of a jerk for not posting it.

Up until I saw this:

*Disclaimer: I'm not trying to make light of what happened. It's sad, and it's terrifying, and I have some close friends affected by it. But I've seen so much really disappointing stuff in the past few days about people saying how Japan deserved it, that I thought a little humor to the situation would be fun. Plus, I do legitimately think in some ways it's insensitive to post a "prayer wave" to someone who just got hit with real waves destroying their lives, but, that's just me. This also isn't to make anyone feel bad who posted the prayer wave... because prayers are definitely needed for them, no matter what you call it!
