Default you guys!!!


I'm SO happy! We adopted a dog from a rescue place in the city yesterday and I'm so excited. We have been talking about a dog for a little while now and it is something I was a little hesitant at first. My husband and I both had bichon dogs growing up and it is like this little dog just fell into our laps. She's 3 years old and so sweet and quiet! I realize that there will be challenges and such I'm sure but so far she is perfect and everyone is so happy. Lucas said last night that he thinks he is going to be happy every day for the rest of his life.

I had to just come and tell you guys here so I don't get all weird and excited on facebook.. we can just keep this here. haha.

I wasn't thinking it was going to happen this fast. We put in adoption applications at a few places and then one of the volunteers emailed me this picture of a dog she hadn't put on the website yet. I aww'd out loud and we just decided to go and meet her to see what we thought.. and well.. it was love LOL!
