Default 1st slumber party advice

I promised my daughter I'd have one for her so it's scheduled for the weekend after Easter. She's 8 and it looks like we're gonna have no more than 5 girls here, all about the same age. Any suggestions on what to do for fun? I figure I'll go to McDonald's and get them a huge bucket of nuggets and fries, rent a movie on directtv or buy one they haven't seen yet. Break out the board games and paint nails. Other than that, I'm brain dead. Help!

Amy that sounds like tons of fun for them.

We did a little slumber party for my little sister *11*

we did hair, nails, and makeup
they dressed up
they watched movies and ate ice cream
played girly games on the Wii

They had tons of fun

Ummm buy some play makeup if you arent against the girls having fun with making each other over. I know some parents dont like that. Also have lots of barettes and pony tails so they can do each others hair. Ice cream is a defenite. Twister (the game) was always lots of fun at slumber parties. Movies are good. Maybe a craft for them to do. Some pretty glittery nail polishes. I remember seeing a slumber party invite on here that was sooooo CUTE!! It was a hybrid project.

ohh that sounds fun! like group crafts

I remember when i was a kid I use to make little friendship bracelets.

So maybe they can do some craft bracelets and pony tail holders ect.

Also I suppose if you wanted to have them do some cooking stuff like baking cupcakes or something that would be fun too.

I would just worry about the mess lol

the cute hybrid invites sound cute too!

Get some girly board games.

I always wanted Mall Maddness when I was a kid.
