September 2025 - SWTSB 9/23 - Neapolitan Challenge

Sweet Shoppe SugarBabe
Hello Sweet Scrappers! I'm here with the next Scrapping with the SugarBabes challenge!

I know that this is often a "fan favorite" so I hope you enjoy our Neapolitan Challenge. I chose 3 layouts from our members and pulled inspiration from each one to make my layout. I really enjoyed seeing how 3 other SugarBabes drew inspiration from the same 3 layouts to come up with their own layouts. I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with, too!

Check out the 3 layouts that I chose. Then list out what inspiration you took from each layout and incorporated into your own layout. Post your layout in the gallery and in this thread with a link to your gallery posting.

Here are the 3 layouts at a glance:

Thank you Char for the fun challenge!
Here's mine.
Layout 1: 3 pictures with white frames and stars stickers
Layout 2: patterned paper background, animals and scatters
Layout 3: floral big cluster background, paint and word arts

I need to clarify -- we create one layout but draw inspiration from all three provided to us? Is this correct?

This one was tough -- took a bit of thinking

Inspiration Taken:
Layout 1: Central Arrangement, 3 photos withWhite Frames
Layout 2: Photo Arrangement, stitching
Layout 3: Photos surrounded by Flowers, strings

Thank you so much for this fun challenge! This is what inspired me from each of the three layouts:
1.Vertical design, layered papers, polka dots
2. 3 photos, photo placement, lots of greenery
3. large cluster around photos, large title

Page 1: Background papers layout
Page 2: Title and wordstrip use and orientation; circlet of embellishments around photos
Page 3: Photo use (4 photos in a row; 2 small squares, 1 portrait, 1 landscape)

My inspiration:
1. layered background papers
2. replace photo spot with elements and papers
3. clustering and photo spots (and template choice)

INSPIRATIONS: #1: the 3 backgrorund papers;
#2: the entire kit itself; the 3 framed "photos"; the "Zoo" title;
#3: the background scatter-using the flower shapes

Thank you so much for this challenge Char, I really needed to think what to pick haha

Layout 1: Three pictures and stars
Layout 2: Scatters and greenery
Layout 3: Flowers and paint

Thanks for the fun challenge.
This is what I picked from each layout:
1. 3 buttons in a row
2. Plate with text with a bow
3. Neutral background with paint
And this is what I made:

Inspo 1
Vertical stacked papers in middle
Torn paper piece
Stars
Polka dot paper

Inspo 2
Sweet Doll Design products
Stitched border
Three photos
Heavily clustered flowers and foliage

Inspo 3
Paint
Photos horizontally placed alongside each other
String
Cursive title

layout 1: background layers
layout 2: lots of greenery, 3 photo spots and photo placement
layout 3: big script title, neutral background

So much wonderful inspiration!!
Layout 1 - I used paper layout (rotated) with stitches, round alpha
Layout 2 - I used animals, tucked flowers/foliage, wood round alpha
Layout 3 - I used photo arrangement, script title at top, kraft background color

Inspiration: 1 = lots of paper pieces behind the photo cluster, 2 = cluster of three photos, 3 = paint and scattered bits around the background/edges

Here is my page

2509-07.jpg

Layout 1 - layered papers
Layout 2 - using grass as decoration on my page
Layout 3 - Selfie photos and multiple photos

Layout 1: Background paper layers
Layout 2: Large cluster
Layout 3: Linear photo placement

My Layout Inspiration:
1. Torn paper
2. 3 photos & stitched border
3. Paint background
