Default Hi, I am Leontine

Hi, I am a newbie in digital scrapbookworld. At first I started a course from Jessica Sprague...and now I am hooked. Within no-time I collected lots of digital kits and freebies.

My question: how do you organize? Because I see some embelllishments are perfect in other kits aswell.....but papers I keep per kit now.
Because I am not very happy with the organising at this stage, I hope you have some ideas for me?

Hugs,
Leontine

Hi! Welcome to SSD!!!

I don't really have too much of an organization method. I keep all of my kits together and put them in a "New Kits" folder. After I have used them I then move them to the designer's folder.

Welcome aboard!

I keep my kits together in their own folders but I use keywords (ie: Papers, Red, Girly, etc.) in Adobe Bridge to search through them for certain things.

Welcome to SSD!

You are wise to think about organizing now. I personally love love love ACDSee Photomanager. It's like Windows Explorer on steroids. You can tag itams and do searches, etc.

I suggest thinking about how you scrap . . . like do you look for colors or patterns, etc. and going from there.

Welcome! I have no organizing advice for you; I am happily drowning in a sea of pretty kits.
