I joined last week, too, and feel like I'm in WAY over my head. I'm working on trying to shoot in manual now - once I figure that out, hopefully I'll feel a little more confident.
 
Thanks for pointing this out to me Tracy! I would've missed it otherwise, and I've been thinking about joining for a while now. This was just the push I needed! :)
 
I love this forum and have belonged since March-I don't post a lot-but I have learned A LOT from the forums!
 
I just signed up too! There's A LOT of information and it's totally overwhelming... LOL But maybe it will actually motivate me to learn how to use my camera other than on Auto mode.

whew i thought i was the only one feeling overwhelmed...i joined a few months ago and man are those ladies talented...
 
Oh my...I am completely overwhelmed by the talent!! Holy cow! I haven't even started on the tutorials. It's fun to look at the picture play forum and see what people do!
