PSE 8 is the deal of the day at Office Max!

for those of you who use PSE - is it worth upgrading? A friend of mine asked me, and since I use CS3 I actually don't know the answer myself!

I have PSE 6 and my BFF has 8. I think it is worth the upgrade. I might just be taking a trip to office max!!!! Thanks for letting me know. The cheapest I have seen it was $79 so this is one heck of a deal!

In my opinion PSE upgrades are worth it every other version or so. So if she have 6 or under, then I'd say go for it. If she has 7, then I probably wouldn't spend the money.

I like PSE 8 because it has a lot of the same features as PSE 5 had. Then they changed things in PSE 6 and I hated that. So I totally love PSE 8 and wouldn't go back to 6 ever! I would say it is totally worth the $$ to upgrade!

I think it is totally worth the upgrade. I went from PSE5 to 8 and have noticed several worthwhile changes. Love the many different ways to change the windows/views and pull them in and out of the workspace. Also the pallets on the right can be pulled out. The quick edit side-by-side editing.......good stuff!!

One day I'll convince hubby to let me upgrade... I'd love this. on Black friday it was down to $50 (with mail in rebates) but we didn't get it then and I wish we had. However, I assume 9 will come out Fall this year and maybe there will be another black friday sale.

Randa, if I understand you, the pallets can be pulled out with PSE 5 too. maybe even 4. I always have mine out. but i'd love to see the other differences sometime. maybe i'll download the trial--but then i wouldn't want to go back!
