slow downloads????

Is anybody else experiencing slow downloads from the shoppe? I used to regularly download at about 880KB/s and now I'm averaging about 100 KB/s . . .

I don't seem to be having issues elsewhere, but not sure if there is something slow with the site? or some settings that I may need to adjust?

I tried disabling my firewall temporarily, but it didn't help. I tried using Firefox instead of Chrome, not help there either.

My speedtest results show that I'm getting 14 Mb/s download, so I expect something around that 800 KB/s speed.

Has it been happening for a while or just today?

I haven't downloaded anything from the shop lately... so I can't really say it has been slow... but then I've been having issue with my service so I wouldn't know if it was the store or not... but it is frustrating when I want my kit and it's so slow downloading!!

I noticed it during the week after the DSD sale too, but just chalked that up to being extra busy.

I'm not sure why that's happening, when you normally have a good download speed. I'd recommend emptying your trash, then totally shutting down your computer and restarting. Sometimes that works for me.

I sent a note off to our IT guy. Hopefully he gets back to me soon.

Just thought I'd report that downloads today are back UP to "normal". Yippee!!
