Sweet Shoppe SugarBabe
So, I ordered a Carpe Diem in Platinum, and I'm so excited! Thank you Traci! LOL! It shipped today.

I don't know that I'll do much decorating, I need a planner for work and I constantly make lists at home, and at work. I think this will help me keep track (because I forget what I do with them), LOL!

Tell me about your set-ups, tips, anything I need to know/get. Show me pictures!

Right now I ordered dividers, the little pockets, I bought some bookmark tabs things at staples, daily & basic inserts and the little magnets.

I'm thinking
-Daily (this will be a little of everything)
-Work Stuff
-Budget Stuff
-Menu Planning
-This & That

Yeah! I'm waiting (impatiently!) for my platinum to ship. Once it gets here I'll have 2 different planners used very differently.

Sounds like you'll be set up pretty well already. Maybe get some post its? My smaller planner (5x7) is my main calendar. The biggest section is my week on 2 pages planner inserts. I use it for appointments and to-dos. I combine work and personal there. (Works for teaching, since I don't have a lot of to-dos. I lesson plan on the computer.)

My next section is a set of undated monthly calendars that I set up for the next year. I use it for appointments, travel, school vacations, etc. that are planned way in advance. By June I find myself using it alot.

After that I have notes and to-dos. Those are blank pages that I use for especially busy days, staff meeting notes, etc.

Finally I have a section with budget (just a few pages since my husband keeps the main budget in a spreadsheet) and other things that need to be tracked all year (continuing education credits for work, weight loss, etc).

My Carpe Diem will be for travel planning, renovations we want to do on our house, and possibly some weight loss and activity tracking. I'm planning to washi over the days so I can use the inserts for other things. I don't know yet exactly how I'll set it up.

Mine still hasn't shipped, I'm excited to get it though. I didn't buy any pretties and now I am kicking myself! So I bought some sticker paper to print out my own for now. I bought the day at a time inserts though as I like a day to a page vs a tiny gap. I intend to use it to plan out my kits. Then use the monthly section for my other appointments etc...

My life isn't very busy so it's not full of amazing stuff unfortunately lol. But I know I will definitely use it for my designing plans.

My planner should be here tomorrow! Woohoo!

A side note, does Michael's or Hobby Lobby carry stuff for them? Michael's isn't really that close, but I have to go to Ann Arbor on Friday, so I'll be near one.

I think it depends on your specific store and on what you're hoping to find. My Michaels has lots of washi, stickers (not specifically for planners), pens, and a small selection of Happy Planner supplies (some are things like stickers that will work in other planners. Others are covers and dividers already punched for that planner). From what I've heard some have more and some have less. We don't have Hobby Lobby, so I don't know about them.

If anyone uses binder clips in their planners I saw this deal today on Vera Bradley binder clips that is tempting me.

eta: I went back and bought a set.

So besides flipping to the current date page, how do you use binder clips?

I bought The Happy Planner by Me & My Big Ideas, and I love it so much!

I didn't buy any pretties (and don't plan to) for it as it's pretty enough on its own. I love that I can put in regular appointments, etc. but it's divided up into morning, afternoon, and evening and I've been writing in it the things we end up doing, like a journal, so I can use it for PL.

I love writing things with real pen and real paper.

I really didn't think I would love it as much as I do. Yeah planners!

My planner friends in the US love the Target dollar spot items. The latest valentine collection is quite pretty. I love the memo pads, sticky notes and washi.

I am currently using my coral Carpe Diem planner but I also have others and the Happy Planner is my favorite.

My page this week...
