Cutting Chipboard?

Hey gals!! I'm working on a project for my SIL's baby shower and want to reinforce some of the elements I've printed with Chipboard but, my question is, what do I need to cut it with I don't want to go get it if I won't be able to cut it!!

Just get some thinner chipboard and you can use scissors or a kraft knife.

Also, instead of going out and buying chipboard, try 1 or 2 more layers of plain paper. Use up some of your scraps and it'll work just as well.

I'll have to see if the store has thinner chipboard... It's a little Ben Franklin so, their selection is limited but, I'm not up for driving down the hill today... LOL I thought about the multiple layers but, one of the projects I want to do is an altered frame and I don't want to worry about them splitting a year down the road... Since I'm just strting out, I don't trust myself to reinforce them properly and still have them look good!! LOL Plus, I printed all the elements on one piece of paper to prevent scraps!! LOL It's my first project so, I don't have any old ones!!

Is this a long term thing (want it to last years and years) or just a fun project? If not long term, then why not use cereal boxes, etc for chipboard? You are covering it anwyay right! And what a great way to recycle 'eh!

for thin chipboard I suggest either cereal boxes or the back of legal pads. I also get sheets in some of my packets of paper

Not exactly sure if it'll be long term or not, I intent at least part of it to be and, my SIL may decide to keep other parts. Not sure yet if she's going to be the sentimental, keep everything type like me or not!! LOL But, I'm intending for the frame to last a long time. But, I will have to keep the cereal box thing in mind for the future!!
