PL - Opening Page?? What do ya do with it?

As I am finishing my PL scrapbook for the year, I still have one empty page - the title page, or first odd page of the book. (I have done two page spreads for every week this year.) I was curious about what the rest of you do for this opening page?? Do you scrap it any differently? Is anybody willing to share their title page for a little inspiration? Thanks!
 
LOL-I still haven't done mine either. I've seen some I liked with a family photo in 1 pocket, the year/title (XXXX family's 2013 album) in another, and quotes or decorative cards in the others. I also like this one a lot and may copy it when I do mine, with a card for each family member with some descriptive info and a photo of our house and family.

I haven't done my title page either - I've been procrastinating that since I started Project Life this year!

I wanted to do mine immediately when I started PL in January, but the idea of using a 2012 family photo for our 2013 album was bothering me way more than it should have. So I put it off until I had a photo worth using, by which point I was behind and too busy with weekly spreads to get back to it. Chance of that happening again in 2014? Probably 98%!
 
I have 3 volumes of PL for this year, so I have 3 covers:
First:


Second:


Third:


I've done various things with the back page, but my plan for the end of year one is a few random snapshots(our house on NYE, us, the cats-but these won't be posed), and a list of stats about the year and a note from each of us about 2013.
 
I have 2 albums for this year's PL but I haven't done the cover for the second album yet. This is the cover page for my first album:

I think for the last page I am going to try to do a similar layout with new pics of each of us to show how we've changed. :)
 
For the first page, I have a photo of each of the three of us. I include our ages at the time and where the kids are in school/college. I usually also have a photo(s) of the pets. And I like to include some kind of quote or pretty journal card about capturing everyday life.

For my last page, I'll select favorite photos or highlights like graduation etc and some pretty journal cards I've been hoarding for the perfect time to use them.
 
THANK YOU so much for the wonderful ideas and inspiration, ladies! All of these layouts are beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing them! I feel a little guilty I did not think to include pics of our pets (who you WILL find throughout my scrapbook, don't worry!) LOL! Jenn - I LOVE your third cover. Now if I can just figure out how to do this.... (**Taking off my winter stocking cap [We got six inches of snow last night] and putting on my thinking cap!!**)
 
Neverendingjenn - You have inspired me once again! Here is the LO I created that I will use as my ending/last page in my album this year!
