Silhouette Designer Edition grrrrr

Don't get me wrong - though some people say that the Designer Edition is a waste of money, I used some of its features tons, which is why I feel like grrrrr! Because yesterday, when I was working on some new PL spreads my software crashed on me and an when I reopened it again, it had downgraded from DE to the simple Studio version again. As this has happened before, I quickly found the license key, input everything, but instead of upgrading I got a notification that the key is already in use. After trying a couple of times, I wrote an email to Silhouette support but haven't heard back from them yet! Should I be concerned? Or should I just be more patient?

Just yesterday, I had planned to buy some new svg files and work on a project with those (3d letters for home decor from svgcuts.com). That didn't work out, of course, and I really want to have my DE version back!!!

If it was only yesterday that you emailed, I'd be patient a few more days. Sorry you're having trouble!

K. I'll try to be patient. I guess, I'm just too used to SSD customer service where things usually get solved super fast and pretty much always to our satisfaction!

My sister has also said they are slow to respond to email . . not good. I've been told of stories where the person has emailed 3x and not heard back from them =(

I hope they have fixed the issue for you now!

says on their site until 5pm mountain time ... maybe they are open for a bit more tonight ... I think when I had issues in the past I just called them ...

Have you heard back from them? I think the Designer Edition is fun. I love that I can use the patterns fill function (sorry don´t know if you call it like that in english hehe, I use the german version) for the print and cut stuff.
