Workshop Question

Ladies... thought I'd post this here so that I don't add more threads to the workshop forum unncessarily. I'm new to these forums, but not new to the shoppe. ;) Can anyone tell me if there is a specific purchase list or suggested albums and such that need to be purchased from the Shoppe to particiate? I ask because there is mention in the different levels about templates and quick pages. I tried reading through all the threads, but I was starting to get confused since there are a lot of side comments, etc.

BTW- I did read through the FAQ, it may be that I am just sleep deprived, and am (most likely) missing something.

There's no real purchase list. It's recommended that you buy the album shape for the month (last month was the Maya Road Mini Heart, next months is still being decided), but for something like the mini heart, you could cut your own chipboard.

If you don't have the template for the album, then you can purchase it in the shop in the "Sweet Keepsakes" section.

Other than that, you do whatever you want. Use whatever kits you want, embellishments you want, etc etc.

No problem! A lot of people :cough: Me :cough: are frequent shoppers, and the designers have been awesome about putting out Free With Purchase albums. So a lot of people already have the basic shape, or a quick page album to use, or whatever.

Don't be shy, we're always happy to answer questions and help newbies. Hybrid is fuuuuuun! :)

Every month we vote which album we'd like to use in that month's workshop. It's suggested that you purchase that particular album if you'd like to play along.
For beginners, album quickpages are provided in the shop. As someone else said, sometimes you can get these album quickpages by purchasing a kit...just be sure to read the kit's description to see if a set of quickpages come with it.
For experienced scrappers, a template is available in the shop for purchase. These templates match the monthly album we'll be using to scrap with.
For advanced scrappers, all you need is an album. What you do with it is up to you as long as it follows in the monthly theme!
Feel free to sign up under any of the three tiers (beginner, experienced or advanced!).
We look forward to having you play along!
 
Thanks... for the additional info. I guess I was really asking because if I had signed up for May.. I know I would not have wanted to do a heart album even though it went with the theme. Just doesn't fit my personality. Sounds like the workshop has some wiggle room.
