Description: This was a mini wallet size album I found at Michaels in the dollar bin. I measured the front, adding 1/4 in., then designed the cover. It works much better to do this in 3 different pieces. Front, back and another for the binding. This album had the flap with a magnetic closure so I covered it to. I plan to use it to hold gift cards for a graduation gift. Boo To You Altered Hybrid Candle

Description: This is a Dollar Tree candle I altered for Halloween. I printed the design on tissue paper and "melted" it to the candle. Basically you just need to tape (or use spray adhesive) the tissue paper to a sheet of regular paper so it won't get stuck in the printer. Then you can either use the spray adhesive to attach it to the candle or just hold it and use a heat embossing gun to melt it into the candle. It gets hot pretty quickly and will drip but for this candle it actually looked good that way. lol I think I found the instructions in a Scrap Girls newsletter but I can't find a link for it. Altered Door Hanger

Description: This is an altered door hanger. I thought this kit was perfect for my nephew, his room is decorated Army style, it's so cute. I found a pack of 4 at Grocery Outlet for $2. I printed it out and glued it with a glue stick then used an x-acto knife to trim away the excess. I also sanded the edges for a little bit of grunge. My friend Terri says I always have Dollar Tree in my description of my altered items so I had to add that in, even though I didn't use anything from there this time. I live in a small town that's the only place I have to shop. lol All products are from Laura Deacetis' new kit called Starburst. Digital Flower Frame

Description: This is a $1 wooden frame from Michael's, painted white with digital paper and flowers glued on. I used foam tape to set the flowers at different heights. I added glitter to the center of ONE flower, it just happened to be non-setting glitter glue, whatever that means, so I spread it on that ONE flower. I liked the way it looked and added it to one more, then another until I had them all covered in glitter. I didn't even know I liked glitter. Bouquet of Paper Flowers

Description: These are a mixture of cardstock, printed digital flowers, silk flowers, buttons, ribbons, rhinestones and brads. Printed flowers are from Laura Deacetis Springtime in Paris and (S)TEM-PING FLOWERS. https://www.sweetshoppedesigns.com/sh...ddaefa9d3cd39d https://www.sweetshoppedesigns.com/sh...ducts_id=9 49 The big black and white printed flower is by Christy Lyle. I printed out the flowers, cut them out by hand and layered with silk flowers, buttons etc. The bottom layer is 1/4 inch x 6 inch cardstock strips. I think I used 10 and bound them together on a mini brad. I glued them to a thumbtack and stuck it in the pencil eraser. The glitter pencils, vase and glass marbles are all from Dollar Tree.
