Description: This is a special photo for me ... my little girl is usually very slow to warm up to men, including my dad. He's been trying very hard to get her to come around and we've all been pulling for it to happen (my dad is very ill). This day she not only asked him to come sit by her on her little bench, but asked him to read to her and shared her dolly with him too. Made us both very happy! Journaling reads, "I love this picture of you and papa. You are looking at him with such love in your eyes. You asked him to come sit by you, which made him so very happy!" Description: For the Sugar Free Challenge #19. Okay, well, the thing that drives me crazy (and hurts my poor mama's heart and easily bruised ego) is my daughter has stopped giving me and my husband kisses ... but gives them out to every THING else. The dog, dolls, books, ANTS! But will shake her head no at us most of the time we ask for one. Those rare kisses that she chooses to bless us with are SO VERY PRECIOUS now! Description: For my daughter's first Halloween last year we all went as characters from Alice in Wonderland. Daddy was the Mad Hatter, I was Alice, my mom was The Queen of Hearts and my daughter was the White Rabbit. Alice in Wonderland is my favorite book ... I just adore Lewis Carroll's work and the Tenniel illustrations.
