Journaling: "Change is scary for me. I?m a single mother, and I work very hard to provide what little I have to my family. I am also a creature of habit. Routine defines our everyday lives. I?ve come to realize that its because routine is the only thing I can count on. My children are part of the future and outcome of this world we live in. It?s frightening to think of letting the world have my babies. I know I must let them go, eventually. Before releasing them, I have the task of imparting in them the values that are important in life. Sometimes I get lost in the here and now, the details, the daily routine. I will try to remember the bigger picture and make sure that my children are ready for this world."

1 comment SassyScrapper Wed, 07 Nov 2007 04:14:12 +0000 Breathtaking **Stand Up & Scrap Week 5** https://www.sweetshoppecommunity.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=14679&title=breathtaking2a-2astand-up26amp-3b-scrap-week-5-2a-2a&cat=500

by: SassyScrapper

Description: Supplies:PP, ribbon, torn paper, journaling spot, swirl brush, by Vicki Stegal, flowers, scallop paper template by Gina Miller, scallop paper folded template by Jennilyn Designs, mended photo mask by Taylor Made Designs, stitching and ribbon by Weeds & Wildflowers, phalphas by Anita Steriou, clock, princess ATC by Jennifer Wilson Designs, font is Gingerbread House. As a small child, I didn?t think about what my goals in life would be. Growing up, I always focused on the here and now. In the back of my mind, I always had some vague idea about marriage and kids, maybe being an artist and selling my paintings. Cut to reality. Years later, I?m a single mom of two working in retail. But I believe I?m finally on the right path. Through a series of small, insignificant events, I have discovered my passion, my goal, my dream. Through hard work and perseverance, I am slowly chipping away at it. I?ve recently won as runner up in a major digital scrapbooking contest, I?m creating my own digital kits, I just found out that I will be published in a few months time in a major magazine, and I finally have my website up and running. I am well on my way to living my dream.

1 comment SassyScrapper Wed, 07 Nov 2007 04:10:24 +0000
