Description: Well, Sprinkle was very specific as to how he wanted his picture taken, and how he wanted it colored when we were done. Oh, heaven help us!!!! TFL. Amy :o) Journaling: 1. hey mom! says five year old sprinkle. lets take some pictures! 2. okay, boy. whatcha got in mind? 3. how about some silly stuff, like this, this and this? pic 4, 5, 6 7. but then you need to make it all black and white except for my eyes. can you do that? 8. sure, boy. you mean like this? 9. yeah, cool! just like that! And that's how we get a perfect 10. Description: Journaling: The first signs of spring love are evidenced in the chubby hand of a child, carrying dandelions to his mother. How dear and how precious are these flowers to me this year, carried by not one but two of my sweet children. Spring has sprung, and with it all the thoughtful sweetness of fresh, innocent love. Description: Journaling: If there was only one word I could use for you, it would have to be sweet. Sweet for the way you wake up in the morning all foggy with sleep, your hair all mussed and your steps all stuttery. Sweet for the way you curl up in the rocker while you do your math, your blanket over your head. Sweet for the way you kneel in front of your bed to read a book. Sweet for the way you love on your baby brother until he screams with frustration and laughter all at the same time. Sweet for being so willing to help you jump up and knock over your chair. Sweet for loving hugs and love notes and and silly little pictures left around the house to make us smile. Sweet for the way you must bury yourself under blankets before you fall asleep. And sweet for the way you sleep with your hair all smeared on your face, getting ready to wake you up all mussed and cozy, and start another day of sweetness all over again. You are forever my sweet, sweet girl.

Description: It's amazing to me what a simple change in perspective can do for a situation. Lately I've been so discouraged. I was forgetting to look up to my Heavenly Father for guidance, relinquishing control to Him. The Saturday afternoon in the woods that I took this photo really got me back on track. Journaling: It had been a rough week, and now I found myself in the middle of the woods with a wiggly toddler strapped to my body. I was tired, discouraged and cold. Leaning against a mossy tree, I waited for the man with the compass to show us what direction to go. And in that waiting, I happened to glance up.

Description: We were having problems at our house with responsibilities, so I made up a daily chore chart to use as my monitor background. I just make the buttons visible as the kids finish their chores each day. So far, it's working great! :)
