Description: Journaling: If I could be honest and have one selfish wish, it would be for just a little more time with my dad. At 28 I was not ready to say good bye to the man that was not only my father but a best friend. At 28 I had not met my husband, was just starting to find my career path and had no idea that children were in my future. I was just beginning to find my way in life at a time when he was leaving it. Just a little time to let him know how it all turns out. To let him hold his grandchild and meet his son in law. To hold hands and laugh one more time. Each year goes by and I realize how much time we have lost and that the pain doesn't lessen. What I really want is my father back and for there to be a cure.
