Description: Okay, my big love/obsession of Prada isn't a shock to anyone, but the day I get a new pair, I spend hours and hours just examining and holding them, that I usually wake up next to them the next morning. Alpha - Christy's Cardboard (re-textured) Bottom Sheet - Dani's Road Trip Loads of hand-painting, digi-draping and digi-rouching by me and my little smudge brush. (The burn brush got the night off.) THIS is what I like doing most - making something out of almost nothing. The only photo is my my last precious pair I acquired. Shoes - Prada (duh!)

Description: I read the prompt while I was talking to Christy, and the very first thing that popped into my head was Coco Chanel! (I'm a uber-fashionista so that's how it goes...gender by damned! That woman had buckets of class and style.) Was a bit rough to think minimal again. But Coco hates clutter. I kept having to slap my hand to keep from adding 90 extra layers of depth. Paper - Kay Miller's Arctic Antics Paper - Dani Mogstad & Jacque Larsen's Scared Silly Paper - Dani Mogstad's Winter Thrill Zipper - Dani Mogstad's Winter Thrill Stitching - Me Lanyards - Kim Jensen's Date Beads (shortened & modified a bit) Snowflake Brushes - Michelle Coleman's Snowflakes Lift Tickets - Me Alpha - Me (it's on my blog) Hand quilting this seemed like a good idea when I started. After the 3rd hour, seemed like less of a good idea. It wasn't hard or anything -- just time consuming to get each diamond to have the right amount of stuffing and puckers from the stitching, and to anticipate how the edge of the circle should be shadowed and highlighted.
