Description: I rarely feel sad when I see pictures of my children, but every once in a while there's a shot that makes my heart ache. This was one of them. So I tried to scrap the feeling too. My Turquoise days....

Description: We have never stopped referring to Vancouver Island (in the Pacific Northwest) as home, even though we have been gone some seven years now. Sometimes a place can become as much of a presence in your life as a loved one.... And we miss her still. Description: I have been so inspired by the layouts I have seen (and the music I have listened to), I may have gotten a little too serious here... :) ' They say that smell is the most powerful trigger of memory, but I beg to disagree. I believe only music..., a single recognizable tune..., has the capacity to tear a hole in time and consciousness. Not only does music take us back to a place or moment in our lives, but it actually manifests the emotions and thoughts that accompanied it. Even if we forget, a song acts Like an external hard drive on which these moments, sweet or otherwise, are recorded. So it follows that I must always seek new music, different songs, new material on which to record my life.
