Description: We took my dd to the zoo for the first time a few weeks ago. This is the page I did for the monkey's. I absolutely LOVE how the title and journaling worked out!!! :) TFL!! :) Journaling reads: The entire time we were watching the monkeys, one of them decided to show-off his skills. He constantly swung from rope to rope, sometimes using his feet on the side of the cage to help him across. He must have gone back & forth about a dozen times in the few minutes we spent there. As talented as he was, I enjoyed watching the other two monkeys in the cage more, every time he did something they just looked at him and shook their heads! Description: I loved this challenge! And I mostly like how my layout turned out. This is of my DD two years ago when she was blessed (in the LDS church it is like a Catholic Christening). She had a long day and was just DONE when this picture was taken. Journaling Reads: Your blessing day was a very hard day for you. You woke up early and then all of these strangers came to see you at church, and then you had lunch with them. Everyone wanted to hold you and have their pictures taken with you. By the end of the day you were cranky, hungry and tired. All you wanted was for them to go away and leave you alone. Description: I chose Meghan's layout "[URL="http://www.digishoptalk.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=224122&ppuser=5485"]"My Precious Girl"[/URL] I used the brand new kit "Lil Toonz: Who's Clues" by MandaBean & Robin Carlton. It was perfect for this layout! I created the Ribbon Strips with some of the background paper for the kit, Atomic Cupcake's Courduroy texture, and stitch brushes from Obsidian Dawn. The photo corners were created by cutting down the frame and using Atomic Cupcake's painted edge action.
