My solution was to do as Rachel always does, take photos of you and daddy out on the dock of the restaurant while we wait. You, however, were not distracted from your hunger and every single photo I got had the same little grimace instead of your smile. At least you were trying.

Description: This is the right page of a 2 page LO that has been in the works for over a week! It started out as a 1 pager but slowly evolved into 2 pages. :) Thanks for looking Credits: Papers, brads, journal tags: Agnes Lahur's Enchanted Sakura kit template by Teresa Ferguson for the cookie decorating challenge (although I just realized that the LO doesn't really cover a conversation-drat I forgot that part of the challenge.) Date stamp: Eve Recinella (Spring Hey Day kit) Brushstroke: Lauren Grier's Wanna Date Me Baby Fonts: Jailbird Jenna & jr!hand Journaling reads: There were also many games. We pretended to be biddies growing in our eggs and then slowly pecking and flapping our way out. We raced with eggs on a spoon, we rescued baby chicks from one basket to another, and our favorite was the sack races. For the sack races, each person climbed into a large bunny sack and hopped down the line and back. You and Nana were such a fabulous team and your smiles showed the huge joy you found in this odd little game. And of course there was the hayride up to the field for the egg hunt. With so much going on the egg hunt was actually a bit of a letdown. Ella only found 10 eggs and Ruthie only 4, but all in all it was a fun outing.

Description: I started this layout as my application for Teresa's CT call. But after doing the title, I had to veer off from that for a moment to create this LO. It just made me think about why I do in fact take the time to create layouts. It is for the enjoyment of my family and myself. :) And promoting designers here online is just a super added bonus. I mean it would be so easy just to create layouts, print them out & enjoy them here at home, but by posting our creations online, it's like showing the designers how much we love and appreciate them & their creations. :)
