Description: This layout was inspired by the "play with me" layout in Julie's (mrs2a50) [url=http://www.digishoptalk.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=all&ppuser=23]gallery[/url]. She was picked for the [url=https://www.sweetshoppedesigns.com/blog/?p=117]3/11 Blog Spin-a-Lift Challenge[/url] at Sweet Shoppe Designs. I got almost everything on this layout from the All My Love Kit by Jennifer Barrette. The coral paper behind the photo is from Jennifer's Gotta Get it Paper Pack (slightly recolored). I'm a Guest CT for March - woo hoo! The stitching is by Zoe Pearn and is from the Sweet Shoppe's St. Patrick's Day Collaboration Kit called [url=https://www.sweetshoppedesigns.com/shoppe/index.php?main_page=products_new]Wish and Wonder[/url]. The yellow deco-edge is from Eve Recinella's [url=https://www.sweetshoppedesigns.com/shoppe/index.php?main_page=product_info&manufacturers_id=21&products_id=637]Dancing Rainbow Kit[/url] and is also at SSD. The journaling reads: "From now on, when people ask where Lily gets her eyes and smile, we'll just show them this photo of her with her Grammy Mac." Description: This is my first layout as a March Guest CT Member for Jennifer Barrette...and I am loving this! This is a scraplift of Kate Hadfield's [url=http://www.digishoptalk.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=81356&ppuser=851]Climbing Frame[/url] layout. Kate is the [url=https://www.sweetshoppedesigns.com/community/showthread.php?t=872]March Treat of the Month[/url] at Sweet Shoppe Designs. I am in awe of her amazing style...and this is my attempt to be like her...lol. It wasn't easy, but I ended up with a layout that I absolutely love! Garden Girl Kit by Jennifer Barrette - flowers, stitching, ladybug, doodles, sparkle scallop (used to look like Easter grass), and stems Gotta Get It Rainbow Pack - background paper, chicks (extracted from one of the yellow papers), eggs and patch of grass in corner (made from papers in various color packs)

My Gift to Kara

Description: The inspiration for this layout was from the [url=http://www.anthropologie.com/jump.jsp?itemID=49&itemType=CATEGORY]Anthropologie[/url] homepage. They have changed it now, but it is still similar - a little bit grungy with the words in different fonts and such. I did this for the [url=https://www.sweetshoppedesigns.com/community/showthread.php?t=831]Sweet Inspiration Challenge #5[/url]. It was fitting to do this for the Inspiration Challenge, since my friend's strength and courage are what inspired me to do it. I made this layout as a gift to my friend Kara (MommySpice) in memory of her son, Joey. She has been hard at work scrapping his photos, and it isn't always easy for her to do. I wanted to give her a gift to let her know how much I admire her and to let her know that I am so lucky to have her as my scrappin' buddy. All of the photos of Joey that I have seen always show his tubes and bandaids, etc..so I zoomed in on their hands in an attempt to give her a "no tubes" baby picture to look at when she needs it. The journaling reads: Your hospital photos look very different than mine. So, I wanted to create a layout for you that simply shows a mommy and her baby. Then, just for a second...I hope you can just remember this exact moment and none of the hard stuff. The alpha used to make {moment} is from the [url=https://www.sweetshoppedesigns.com/shoppe/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=758]Sweet Shoppe's 2007 Quartley Assortment Volume 1[/url]. It was in a kit by Suzy Nunes called Peppermint Tea - I did recolor it to match the blue in Joey's blankie. The brown crumpled tags are also from SSD's Quartley Assortment - a kit by Amanda Rockwell called Little Slice of Love. That assortment is the best deal EVER! It is so inexpensive and literally jam packed with good - no, AWESOME stuff! You would be NUTS not check it out!!! :) The background paper and grungy overlay are from Jennifer Donnelly's Sweet Mystery Kit at Designer Digitals. The black label alpha is a freebie by Leah Riordan at OScraps. The file folder label is also a freebie from OScraps called Mod Monday by Jeni Cantrill. Photo credits go to Kara (or her hubby, I'm guessing!)

Teresa's "cookie cutter" template was inspired by a layout by [url=https://www.sweetshoppedesigns.com/inspiration/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=147]Jennifer Jorgensen's[/url]. When I heard the doctor say those words, it was moments like these that I imagined...me, a curling iron in one hand and the camera in the other...you, all dressed up like a princess and both of us loving every minute of it! This was the first time I have used one of Teresa's templates...and I now realize what I have been missing. After using a lot of other templates, I was turned off by the whole concept because they usually ended up taking longer than a "regular" layout. Teresa has made me see the light...lol! This template was so easy to use - the pieces were different shades so it is easier to manipulate and I didn't have to copy and paste the pieces together first! Ahhhhh! *heavens open up* Anyway, this has not only turned into my favorite template layout...but one of my favorite layouts EVER! The kit I used to make this layout is Lily's Garden (rather fitting, I thought!) by Jennifer Donnally (DD). Everything you see on the layout was from the kit - the "stampy" flowers were just extracted from one of the papers. Thanks to Teresa, I have found an awesome way to bake up some SA-WEETNESS without the fat! LOL!!
