Description: layout about me opening up my photog business Journaling Reads... Getting to this point hasn't been easy for me! It's taken a lot of hard work, determination and money to get my photography business up and running. I've always been such a dreamer my whole life. Never fully committing to any career decisions I've made along the way. If I had only followed my heart and taken the creative path I could have put myself through a lot less disappointment! Now that I finally realized that I found my true calling, I've been putting my all into it. The countless hours spent on the computer putting my website, advertising and marketing materials have made me feel like no matter what, if my business succeeds or fails, I put 110% into it. It hasn't been an easy path for Dan. He's seen me make poor career choices in the past before we finally decided it was best for me to be a stay at home mom. In some ways though, I felt like a failure. Even though I get to spend my day with our daughter, I felt like my failure to contribute financially meant that I was a bad mother and wife. With time, I've come to realize the complete opposite. I am not a failure. I get to spend my day with the most AMAZING little person I know. And now not only do I get to stay home with her, but I also get to add a little dough to the family income with my own business. Photography is my passion other than my family. I want to learn as much as possible as fast as I can. I want my customers to know how much it means to me when they let me come in their homes to capture their family. I want Dan to know that I've found my calling and I don't have to search anymore. I want Lillian to know how much my time with her means to me. I want to wake up each morning, loving my family, loving my life, and loving what I do. Photography has made all of that possible for me, Dan, and Lillian.
