Journaling reads: As a wanna-be photographer, I think weddings are my biggest challenge. The pressure is so high for many reasons. This is the most important day of my subject's lives. Their family and friends have gathered to share in the experience. These are priceless moments, and there are no do-overs. So, why do I do it? The short answer is that I am an incurable romantic. Watching couples like Zach and Clarissa start their life together is an amazing experience. It is a priviledge to capture these memories for them. I do it for them, I do it for me, I do it because I am a sap who just loves weddings!

You have so much energy and vitality and it sometimes literally spill over. What I love about watching you do things like making this cake is that you were singing and dancing while you did it. Even when you lifted up the beaters before turning off the mixer and splattered chocolate cake batter everywhere, you just laughed and asked me to get the camera. That attitude is just terrific and that is just YOU.
