Description: CYOA: Your neighborhood Sketch Challenge with SugarBabe Charlene Autumn Forest by Kristin Cronin-Barrow Journal Next month we move back up closer to the city for my job. We moved down into the mountains last year and I will miss this view quite a lot. The clouds roll into the valley hiding the range on the other side and it's so peaceful to sit and relax and just marvel at nature. We see deer pretty much every day and it feels like we live in the middle of nowhere at all. I will miss the lack of traffic and the beauty of these hills. I hope our next adventure is worth it.

Description: Desert Dreamer by Kristin Cronin-Barrow and Brook Magee 50 States: South Dakota by Kelly Bangs Creative (some elements are recolored) Title font: Santa Fe Spring Journal font: Susie's Hand Easily one of the most underrated National Parks, Badlands is one of my favorite places I've visited. Even on this rainy, overcast day, it was so beautiful. There are prairie dogs and buffalo roaming about along with birds of prey and so many critters in the nooks and crannies. This land holds many fossils and an abundance of Native American history... once freely explored by the Sioux Nation and used to host many native rituals and for hunting.

It had been a goal of mine for so long and I was overjoyed to spend every possible moment in Glacier National Park. When I close my eyes, I can still see this view in my soul. I believe I spent much time here walking with my ancestors of the Blackfeet Indian tribe.
