Description: Red Ivy's Winter is Coming (because it was a perfect fit for this memory) Template is Two Tiny Turtles Do What You Love #4 flipped and slightly modified. Fonts are Blishfully Script and Sifrand Script Journaling says: We live in Texas and snow almost never happens. so when it showed up Christmas Eve 2004 I was way too stoked over it. In my mind...it was a bonafide Christmas miracle to snow on Christmas Eve in Texas. I threw on the biggest coat I could find, a scarf and a Santa hat and took my time enjoying the snow. My sister and I even scraped up enough to make something passing for a snowman that year. I know the rest of the country seems to care less about snow but even today in my 30s I still geek out as much as I did when back when I called it a Christmas mioracle.

Description: So...it would appear that either 1. I don't take pictures of my son smiling. 2. I haven't bought any new scrapkits or (and this is the correct one) I happen to really love scrapping with this particular kit. I've bought new kits since this one, and taken several smiling photos...but when it was time to choose...this combo won for me again. I'll be sure to note to not use this kit AGAIN next time.

Description: My son was fascinated when we took him into the aquarium at the zoo...he really loved the bright colors and lights in the tanks and the intriguing colors of the fish themselves. It was great for me to see my son take interest in something other than his toes.
