Description: June 9th 2024...marks the most somber year gone by in my life...It has now been a year since my beloved Ray has passed away from Terminal Brain Cancer...In reality,I know he has passed away...but for me...a year just seems like days sometimes...I held a special memorial for him on June 9th...I still cry everyday...I relived each day he was in the hospital right up until his actual passing on June 9th 2023...I miss him just as much as I did a year ago...He was such a bright light in this can be cruel world...All he ever did was spread love & light in this world & help everyone he ever met,even strangers...How can life be so cruel & unfair...It just wasn't his time to go yet...& I sure wasn't ready to let him go either...Now my life is sad & lonely without him...I now know that I will never get over this loss in my life...He was my everything in this world...I have never felt so all alone,in my whole life...as I do right now...I just hope I can find the strength inside...to try to find some hope...So I can somehow try to move forward...in my grief recovery... Description: Choose Your Own Adventure : May 2024 This Or That : Emotion Going through grief has been the toughest challenge I have done to date in my life...I once thought breaking my neck & arm,wearing a painful collar & brace for months [which I no longer wear now] & learning to walk again [I now I walk with a cane ]...were the hardest & most painful things I would ever go through...Grief is a different kind of pain altogether...And when you add that to everything else I'm going through...Days are often overwhelming...I often feel like I'm invisible & all alone...Everybody has seemingly moved on with their lives after my husband's death...but I struggle daily...eventhough,I may not cry 24 hours a day...or talk about it every moment of each & everyday...it is always there...I actually feel worse...I had people around me to talk to then...And now with no one around me who really understands...or wants to hear about these things anymore...and with my closest friend,now,living so far away...I have never felt so all alone...My layouts are my own form of self-help therapy... Description: Choose Your Own Adventure : May 2024 : This Or That : Shades Of Grey It will soon be a year...on June 9th...since my Beloved Husband Ray...passed away from Terminal Brain Cancer...I am still suffering on a daily basis...emotionally...I have always been a "Wear Your Heart On Your Sleeve" kind of...Art Journaler /Scrapper...So a lot of my layouts tend to be filled with emotions...I have been creating pages to help deal with my ongoing struggle with grief & my own personal pain story...since breaking my neck & arm & being laid up in hospital & having to learn to use my arm all over again & learn how to walk again [I now walk with a cane]...It has been a long journey...& until My husband got sick...he was right there with me...Losing him,after 26 years together,was the shock of my life...Between the time he was diagnosed with cancer...and the time he passed way...was a total of 9 days...How can anyone ever prepare for this kind of personal,emotional loss & shock?...Almost a year now...& still I struggle...These "Grief" layouts have been a kind of Personal Therapy...for me...and have helped me cope [even if only for a short while]...as I move along...on my own...personal,ongoing journey through Grief...
