Description: I recently installed a Ring video doorbell, and one of the features is that it can record motion. This morning, it was going crazy with motion alerts. Matthew: Were the constant alerts bugging you? Jeff: No - I only had the app turned on with a tablet at home and it was in silent mode. You can turn down the notification sensitivity if necessary, though. Description: I loved playing with Mom's good ceramic nativity set. She allowed this as long as I was careful. I'd re-enact Mary and Joseph heading off to Egypt to hide with baby Jesus, carefully moving them around behind a chair in the living room. Once one of the three kings was decapitated in a play session. Ooops! Mom didn't freak out too much, and simply super glued his head back on. You can hardly tell, even at close inspection. 35 years later, the same nativity set decorates the top of her piano at Northridge during the Christmas season. Description: For portfolio #25: Rule of Thirds Julie Billingsley Wild at Heart Christy Lyle Circle Date Stamp mini: I wanted the outer rings softer than the inner number. I brushed it on in dark brown, then duplicated that layer. I used a blending mode on the bottom copy to make it a lighter blue color.
