But Audrey was more interested in standing up and climbing over the back of the bench. So we just switched positions and took the photo from a different angle. So the only way she could ~tame~ it was to put it up in pigtails. But because they ended up standing straight up in the air, my brother called them palm trees. So anytime she would fix my hair I would ask her to put in palm trees.

Little did I know that this trip would be as memorable to me as to her. To this day, any time I hear the song Penny Lane, I am immediately transported back to the moment in LIverpool when our private taxi driver turned down Penny Lane at the same time she had the song playing from the taxi's CD player. This is no longer just a song, but a precious memory of a time and place Meg & I shared together.
