Even on this rainy, overcast day, it was so beautiful. There are prairie dogs and buffalo roaming about along with birds of prey and so many critters in the nooks and crannies. This land holds many fossils and an abundance of Native American history... once freely explored by the Sioux Nation and used to host many native rituals and for hunting.

It had been a goal of mine for so long and I was overjoyed to spend every possible moment in Glacier National Park. When I close my eyes, I can still see this view in my soul. I believe I spent much time here walking with my ancestors of the Blackfeet Indian tribe.

Turns out, it isn't a trend at all and look at me now! I love looking at the colors and patterns as I document our ordinary life in my planner. It brings me so much joy to choose just the right color to accent my stickers and to bring color and decoration to an every day week. I use it on cards, to make office decor, and I've even seen people use it to make beautiful artwork. It's such a lovely way to accent a note or a card, too. My favorite washi tapes are from Simply Gilded. I love her character, Jasper, who is the large bear in the photo and he's on several of the tapes in my collection.

The crisp air and cool breezes make me feel at home. My dream vacation is Antarctica and I truly hope I can make that dream come true someday soon. For now, I enjoy the snow and the peaceful quiet it brings me in our current home in the mountains. Journal 02.02.24
