Description: Someone made me reveal one of my deep dark secrets for this layout! Journaling reads: "When I was a kid, my brother Beau and I read lots of Hardy Boys books. But what no one knows is that when I would read a new (to me) one, I would flip to the end of the story and read the last few pages just to make sure everything worked out right and no one died. Silly, I know. This series went on for what seemed like forever. There was never a story that didn't have a solved mystery or that had a maun character die. But, suspense kills me. I can't stand the - not knowing. Even after reading the last few pages of the story, I still read very quickly through the book. Skimming the paragraphs, and getting to the end of each page as quickly as I could because I just couldn't wait to see what happened next. And while I no longer read the last pages before beginning a new book, I still devour a good book. Barely pausing at the end of each chapter as I can't wait to see what's next. Description: I needed a little winter blues scrap therapy today... lol. We've gotten so much snow this yr that some of the companies that clear driveways closed up shop, including the one that we hired. The snow banks are so high you can't see around corners, the roads are shrunk by at least half a lane's width. It's enough to make you say - Enough Already! Decided to record what I've created/read during this winter - up till now anyways - to wile away the hrs stuck inside. Description: Finally scrapped all the daily photos of our Elf - Noelle. We used the "magic of the Christmas Tree" to bring our Tinkerbell to life. For the month of December she became our Elf on the Shelf. My daughter took daily pics of her elf friend before playing with her. Our elf's rule was that she could play with my DD all day, but to come to life at night she had to be placed under the tree when DD went to bed. I used a variety of Christmas kits for these 2 layouts.
