Mother's Day Hike 2009

This photo was taken during a hike on Mother's Day. It was a great way to see how a foot I broke and had 3 surgeries on was coming along for hiking. Well, it did hurt, but the view at the top of Powell Butte allows views of several mountain peaks surrounding the Portland area.

Description: Stay-cation by Jenn Barrette Aloha by Dani Mogstadt Under the Sea by Julie Billingsley and Kristin Cronin Barrow Started with a template from Amy Martin - Placed the top of the tempate over my background that was combined with the photo as mentioned recently in a The Daily Digi article. Love the effect and love being able to get the feel of this large pretty outdoor pool complex into my layout. Very effective! I used one of the alphas in Under the Sea and with a simply style to add a color overlay in multiply mode and stroke I achieved my colorful title.

At 3 1/2 years old you were still very shy. But once you joined in you never turned back and loved every moment of your six-week summer dance class. Attending with you were xxx, xxx, and xxx.
