Description: My kids love going to their grandfather's cabin. He built it himself, adding on little by little, in the woods in Pennsylvania. It is the most peaceful place! My husband's dad has a cabin in the woods and we love to go there when we visit (which, sadly, isn't often). We took the kids to PopPop's cabin and then went exploring the area. They were little and don't remember, but I sure do! We went back about 4 years ago and they remember it that time at least. :)

Description: This challenge was perfect for encouraging me to scrap this photo. This one is special to my husband and I. I don't do one photo layouts that often these days because I take so many photos, but the challenge made me feel it was okay to scrap a single photo. I love the results! I primarily used Scenic Route Trails by KCB but added a few elements from other outdoor kits of hers to it as well.

Description: This challenge was a fun excuse to scrap more pictures of my son's 8th birthday party. He is 14 now, so these pictures have obviously been neglected for a while. In fact, he didn't recognize his best friend in the pics! His birthday party was at a tumbling gym with a Super Hero Training Camp theme. Super fun! I used an old Tripe Scoop called Girls Just Wanna Kick Butt. Two of the designers are still at SSD (Jenn and KCB).

Description: The quote goes well with my OLW for 2019, so I was excited to scrap this. Every year I scrap a page to go on my facebook cover page so I don't do a lot of journaling or anything on it, just keep it simple. Most of this is Melissa Bennett's "I Am' kit, but some is random pieces from other SSD kits like Studio Basics wings and word art strips. The paper doll is from former SSD designer Krystal Hartley and I had to add it because it went so perfectly!
