This is a quickpage from Simply sweet magazine. I just added my pics and journaling to this page.

Journaling:
On the 6th of May 2009 the day began normally except for some tightness that I was having in my stomach. I didn’t think much of it since we already had a false alarm at 34 weeks with these same type of contractions which had me staying in hospital for 2 days in pre-term labor. I was having these contractions on and off since then so I thought nothing of it but daddy on the other hand wanted to get it checked out so off we went to the doctor. My contractions were coming regularly so the doctor suggested we deliver in a few hours since I wasn’t making any progress. We went home as fast as possible, packed my hospital bag, kissed Deen and nervously drove to the hospital. Could I really be meeting my princess today? We booked into Parklane Clinic at 6.16 pm. I was immediately put on a drip and my contractions were being monitored. The sound of the rain surrounded us which helped mama relax a little.... 7.45pm came and the nurse came to get me for the spinal block.... I was so nervous that it looked like I was shivering. I was shaking a lot from the minute they wheeled me to prepare me all the way till I was out of the recovery room. I received my spinal block then I anxiously awaited your arrival. 8.06 pm and the doctor lifts out my precious baby girl but oh oh! the nurse dropped the suction so the doctor had to pull you out without suctioning you. You ended up swallowing a lot of fluid when you tried to cry. This scared mama like crazy! I wondered if something was wrong with my baby girl because you didn’t cry for five minutes. Dr. Booth tried to suction you and help you get the excess fluid out of your lungs... I think you even had him worried! Daddy stayed by your side the entire time. Finally after five minutes you started to cry... Your cry was music to my ears... As soon as I was all stitched up I got to finally hold you and breastfeed you. Your hands and feet stayed blue while I was in the recovery room. You were eager to breastfeed, I guess you were anxiously waiting to meet me too. From that second on you did not want to leave my side. You slept peacefully in my arms.
I Love You my sweet
precious baby girl.

Welcome to the world. Mama is here to shower you with lots of hugs, kisses, and love.
