Journaling: We had such a wonderful time together on Sunday. It was a perfectly average day. Our morning started with the usual chores - decluttering, cleaning up toys, laundry and helping the kids with their rooms. Zoey had been asking if we could all go to the Duck Pond for several days. After lunch we SEIZED THE OPPORTUNITY! There was ample duck bread in the freezer. I GRABBED THE CAMERA and grocery list. The kids grabbed the bread. OFF WE WENT. After feeding the ducks, walking around the park, playing tag together and having fun on the play structure Dave and I had an extra treat for the kids. FREDDIE’S FROZEN CUSTARD AND FRENCH FRIES. A wonderful Sunday afternoon treat. The kids were very excited and appreciative. Next to the grocery store to pick up a few things for the kids lunches before school starts. Home for backyard play, dinner (MY FAMOUS CLAM SPAGHETTI of which Aidan had 3 servings) bath and to bed at a reasonable time. IT WAS A WONDERFUL DAY!
