Journaling reads: My husband is very particular about his old t-shirts. Some are older than our relationship. I know this for a fact because some of them state the year on them. The ones that have the year on them are his high school wrestling t-shirts. He made it to state finals and they are prizes in his mind. That may be true but I think it's time to retire them. Actually I thought it was time to retire them 7 1/2 years ago when we got married. It is okay to wear them around house for comfort and work projects but not outside the house. Most have yellow arm pit stains from all the wear they've gotten. I've gotten to the point that I have to hide them so he'll wear other shirts instead. Eventually he'll go looking for them and they'll be back in his rotation but I always find a way to hide them again. These t-shirts are definitely past their glory days but my husband will probably wear them for another 7 1/2 years knowing him!
