Journalling reads: "He was introduced to me as 'Dave' and man did he look good in those football shorts! I signed up for mixed touch rugby purely to have an excuse to talk to him, although I never thought he'd look my way - I'd never been into older guys and he was 6 years my senior. At one afternoon's practise he picked up my phone and put his number in it. "Bold move David Sepe" We watched 'Garden State' the first night we hung out and that has forever been 'our movie'. I remember when he dropped he dropped me of I practically jumped out of his car, trying to play things cool. One moment I will never forget is the first night 'Sepe' and I kissed. We pretty much spent that whole party in our own little world. I remember dancing like idiots on the grass to 'Hey Mickey' and being too scared to initiate a photo together. I had just graduated year 12, and spent every possibly hour of my new found freedom at what would soon become 'our' house. I was so scared to say those three words, when when I did and he said them right back, I knew nothing else mattered. We have been through so much in just a year, I don't know how I could have done it without him. "Do you think I'm pretty?" was the first thing I ever said to 'that new guy', when we first met after my year 12 ball. I never recalled this chance meeting until he mentioned it after becoming my 'Bubs'. Now's he's the one that makes me feel beautiful."
