Journaling:
This week was moving week for our department. While we enjoyed being all alone on the fourth floor, with lots of quiet, we were happy to be getting away from the torn and bumpy carpet, the fruit thieves, and the weird, mismatched cubicle walls. But while the cubicle walls are all one color and the carpet is nice, the cubicles are significantly smaller down on the second floor. Somehow I managed to get what was in my old cubicle plus a box of files underneath and another cubicle’s file drawer into my new but much smaller space. And it is noisier and smells kind of funny (I need to bring in some Febreze). The good news for me? My cubicle has a sort of “window” view and I can see the trees and parking area. And we are now allowed to use the stairs to get to our floor instead of only the elevator. All we need is to get our refrigerator and water cooler back on our new floor, and I think we can make it “home”. ..
