For this month's Portfolio challenge, to write a letter to past, present and future you. I had fun with this one! Journaling reads:
I guess some of the advice I sent to past me should really echo to present me! I should stop worrying about our current housing situation and what to do about it. Because it will all work itself out. It is hard to be right in the middle of such a dilemma, but I know that in 10 years when I look back this will have been just a small, a VERY small, portion of time and Future me will be writing back and saying “if you could have known how it would have worked out you wouldn’t have worried a day” So I am going to try not to worry about selling our house, or renting it, or where to buy a new house, or what to do. I will try to go with the flow of the situation and try to have the confidence to know that it will all work out. I need to remind myself that the kids don’t care where they live, just that they are happy and well taken care of. And that anywhere Mommy and Daddy are is home.
