I had my hair cut for the first time in forEVER. You can't really tell, but there was
a LOT cut off. Inches in some places - easily up to a foot in others. I had bangs
cut, lots of awesome layers added, and then it was styled all sexy at the end

I?ve never been a pampered sort of person. I used to have my nails done, but
trying to change a diaper with claws doesn?t really work. I liked having my
bushman eyebrows shaped, but I just don?t care anymore. And I was a
red head for the last decade, but I was tired of doing that and I?ve let my hair
grow out over the last couple of years. It?s expensive to pamper yourself, and
that same money has many more places it could go towards. But one morning,
my hubby suggested I get a hair cut to help with the nerves I had (I was photographing
a wedding that day, and the thought of standing in front of everyone, looking
so ugly, made me feel sick and ready to just run away and hide.) I did some quick
research online and found a nice place just a few blocks away. She was able
to see me that day! I had no clue what I wanted - except maybe some bangs.
I was tired of my giant forehead being the focus of all my photos. As she started
chopping, I was SO excited. I could tell she knew what she was doing, and
any hesitation I may have had flew out the window. And the finished product
left me just speechless! I looked amazing! Like holy wow amazing! She called
the hair cut the sexy cut, and hell yeah it was! Who was that chick in the
mirror!? I went home, grinning from ear to ear. And as I stood up at the church,
taking photo after photo, I didn?t feel ugly at all! Not even in the slightest!
