Once again - we’re moving. This time it’s not an international move, or a cross country move. This isn’t a move we’re making because we need more space, or better hardwood floors. It’s not a move for young love, or exciting times. This time it’s a move for work. This move is the responsible move. This move will help climb up the corporate ladder... Or will it? This move will take us further away from our families, further away from the security of warm hugs and time spent with Carter’s grandparents. This move is not just about us. This move represents a lot of personal, professional, and emotional changes. This move will take us away from a childhood I knew and wished to re-create. This move is happening quickly and efficiently. They expect us to be moved the week before Christmas. We’re to be moved just six days after Carter turns 4. We’re moving. Right – so. We’re moving. We’re moving and we’re going to get a new space. We’re moving and we’re going to make new friends, new neighbors. We’ll make new memories and hang on tightly to the old. We’re moving and it up to me to ensure that my family has the right attitude about moving!
