I have loved Kip’s laugh since the first time I heard it more than 48 years ago. He has a unique and frequently bizarre sense of humor that I find to be both hysterical and endearing. These are my two favorite pictures of him laughing. Both were taken in favorite restaurants as we dined with friends. Just out of camera range in the top picture is our waitress who did not want any proof to exist that she had given him a mallet for cracking crabs. Kip doesn’t eat crabs. The mallet is an ongoing joke between them.
